Bradner Burn New Year's Eve 2016

At 5:30, not long after dark, we all went to the Bradner Burn at Bradner Gardens, which we have done for 4 years. It was sleeting lightly. We stood in the pavilion & watched a fire burn in a barrel. There were more than 30 people around us. We saw whirling, flaming, world-globes burst open to reveal the numbers: 2017. That was very impressive.

New Year's Day Snow

It snowed lightly during the night on New Year's Day.  It was a pleasant surprise to see snow in the garden that morning.
