Path with Art
We went to the First Thursday Art Walk in Pioneer Square in Seattle. We walked around the crafts fair in Occidental Park. We had dinner at an Italian restaurant called Radici. But we only went inside one gallery called Path with Art, which is also a program to help people in recovery. Rusty had received a postcard announcing their latest exhibit.

4th of July 2017
We spent the 4th of July at the Bellevue Botanical Garden. We had dinner at home, then watched fireworks in New York City on TV. There were lots of fireworks in our neighborhood. Kitty was fascinated to watch them from the window. None of the pets were upset by the noise.

June Garden 2017
Sidewalk Garden with Kniphofia 'Alcazar' (Torch Lily or Red Hot Poker)
Sidewalk garden with Allium cristophii (Star of Persia) & Campanula medium (Canterbury Bells)
Sidewalk garden with Phlomis (Jerusalem Sage)
Erigeron philadelphicus (Philadelphia Fleabane)
The June garden was less abundant with flowers than in May. The weather warmed & rain was less in June, the start of the dry season. The sidewalk garden continued to be the showiest part of the garden, but there were also many flowers in the meadow. June 2015 was 2 degrees warmer than normal with just slightly less than average rainfall at 1.52 inches. It rained on 5 days, with 1.05 inches on 6/15 & 0.31 inches on 6/8. The highest temperature was 96 on 6/25, which set a record for that date. The previous record for 6/25 was 88 in 2008. The lowest was temperature was 48 on 6/10.
