May was surprisingly abundant in a garden that was only 6 months old.  Jordan & Steve went to the Washington Native Plant Society sale on Mercer Island early in the month.  3 boxes of new plants came from that expedition.  Heuchera cylindrica continued to bloom throughout the month as it had through most of April.  The Pacific coast hybrid Iris were beautiful early in the month.  Scilla peruviana made a splash mid-month.  Lots of Penstemon serrulatus bloomed blue in the native garden at the end of the month.  More native Sedum was added.  Alchemilla, Allium & Daylily bloomed in the patio garden.
